Nowadays, Dongguan adheres to the distinctive city characteristics of “Sci-Tech Innovation + Advanced Manufacturing" and focuses on building an advanced manufacturing hub of the Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
Wan said that Dongguan would actively create an internal and external circular link, focus on building an open economy with unique advantages and a high-end industrial agglomeration, and cultivate more corporate headquarters and strategic industrial clusters. The city will actively set up the science and technology innovation source featuring high-end innovative resource factors from home and abroad, and forge a demonstration centre for rule convergence and strive to build a great business environment of legalization and internationalization. On this basis, Wan sincerely invited sister cities to come to Dongguan for exchanges and expand the cooperation in various fields.
